You must first obtain a doctor's certification. Massachusetts requires doctors to be certified by the state in order to provide cannabis recommendations. If your primary care doctor is not certified, you might need to find a doctor elsewhere. Please call Sanctuary and our staff will help locate a doctor for you. Once you have a doctor's certification and have a registration number from them, you may register with the state online [here]. Once you have finished registration and you have been approved by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, you will receive your Medical Use of Marijuana Program Identification Card in the mail.
